Dr. Eilís Murphy graduated from University College Cork in 2010. After completing her internship in medicine and surgery in Cork, she worked in Accident and Emergency in Perth, Austrlia. On returning to Ireland, she carried out training in internal medicine in Dublin, working in cardiology, respiratory and endocrinology. She completed her postgraduate examinations in internal medicine and became a member of the Royal College of Physcian’s of Ireland.
Returning to Cork in 2012, she went on to complete four years of General Practice training in Cork, gaining experience in Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and Psychiatry. Her areas of interest include cardiovascular health and diabetes management, women’s health and travel medicine.
She is a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners and holds diplomas in child health and women’s health. She is a certified in Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC). She is also a member of the Travel Medicine Society of Ireland.
