About Turners Cross Medical Centre

Founded in 1983 by Dr. Jerome Murphy, Turners Cross Medical Centre has grown into a busy, well-established, and trusted family practice. When Dr. Maria McLaughlin joined the practice in 2001, she brought a strong dedication to patient-centred care. Known for always putting her patients first, she has been instrumental in upholding the practice’s values of compassion, trust, and clinical excellence.

When Dr. Murphy retired in 2017, his daughter, Dr. Eilis Murphy, joined the team — continuing his patient-focused approach and dedication to high quality medical care. Our team has further grown in recent years, with Dr Eadaoin O'Donovan joining the practice in 2022 quickly becoming a valuable part of the practice. Most recently, in 2024, we were delighted to welcome Dr. Tom Gleeson to the team bringing up-to-date medical expertise, and a genuine commitment to patient care.
